Small Engine Technician

Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy fixing things? Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Small Engine Repair Technician to service and maintain small engines used in mowers, UTVs, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines, including, mowers, UTVs, and generators
• Perform oil changes, tune-ups, carburetor work, and system checks
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure each unit is serviced accurately and safely
• Conduct inspections and prep units for customer delivery
• Maintain clean workspaces and detailed service records
• Follow all safety procedures and take pride in high-quality, precise work

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical background or hands-on experience (small engine, automotive, marine, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail—you notice the little things that make a big difference
• Ability to work independently and as part of a service team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a variety of engine types
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
